About

Born in Ashland KY, the son of a southern baptist music minister and now preacher, Timmy has been around music his whole life. At 8 years of age his family moved to a small town in Western Kentucky called Eddyville. There he began learning the piano and guitar at the age of 10, and by the age of 12 was writing gospel songs that he would perform in church.
Upon graduating high school, Timmy attended Campbellsville University, where he ran for the track team. It was during his time in college that he realized his passion in life was writing songs.
After graduating college in 2015, Timmy spent the next 7 years in the work force. In 2022, he made the decision to pursue his true passion - becoming a published songwriter. In that same year he would book his first gig at a local Tap House in Grand Rivers, KY.
In the time since, Timmy has begun to make his mark in the Western Kentucky music scene and beyond. The winner of local songwriting contests, writing for other local musicians, to playing shows all over the state of Kentucky, Tennessee, and his father's home state of West Virginia - Timmy brings his family's heritage of Appalachia and the bluegrasss state into his music. His style can be best described as blending raw, powerful, raspy vocal techniques - synonymous with Kentucky artists - with writing that weaves stories together in a way that captures the listeners attention.
